Education
I've talked to 20 principals in schools of the City of Stonecrest and each of them tells me the same story about parent involvement being the key issue as to why our students aren't performing well. Parents constantly send their kids to school as if it were a daycare. The parents don't engage in their children's learning and reinforce homework, so the teachers just stop sending homework home because the parents will not spend the time to help their children with the work.

That's why I will implement a Challenge Program for all under-scoring children from K-12 for each school in Stonecrest City limits. I will work with the Dekalb School Board and the CEO to ensure this project is implemented in our city to better our schools. I hope that we lead by example and show Dekalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, and Cobb how much of a difference this program makes.

Parents of students in the Challenge Program will be required to attend Teacher Conferences or schedule a time to complete it over the phone or by Zoom.
All parents will be required to give 4 volunteer hours per school term. Volunteer hours will also be given to encourage parent involvement.
The parents of the Children in the Challenge Program will be required to take a parenting course facilitated at local churches around their cities. This course will educate them on how to be good parents today. It will train them to be involved in their child’s education each day and work with the teachers to provide their children with a sound quality education. It will also teach them how to handle unruly children with behavioral issues and is very detailed and thorough in its approach to child development skills and parenting skills on a faith-based level without crossing the lines of bringing Christianity into their homes.

The Generations Initiative is the curriculum the Parents will be taught for their Parenting Course. It is very in-depth and thorough. It can be as long as a day or spread out through 8 weeks. The course is designed to teach parents how to work with teachers to reaffirm what’s being taught in school and to discipline their children before sending them off to school or anywhere else. This program was put together by Pastor Jasper Williams of Salem Bible Church in Atlanta, GA.
The program consists of an online training course to teach the facilitators how to teach the program. It also consists of a facilitator handbook to teach the class and handbooks for each participant.
In Kingdom, every school in the Nation will work together to improve the reading levels of our students and their CRPPI Test Scores. We will do this by forming an academic Challenge Program that includes all children with disciplinary problems and students with failing report cards without an IEP. It will be a joint effort between the students and their parents. Every public school in states that apply for the trial will be on this pilot program. If successful it will be mandated that Every School in the Nation will foster it in their schools the following year.
Students in the Challenge Program will be required to stay after school for extra tutoring and one-on-one attention with their teachers. Buses will be rerouted to pick these students up at 4:00 p.m. for elementary or 5:00 p.m. for middle and high schools.

Crime & Gun Control
As Christians, many of us don't feel comfortable carrying or even holding a gun. We are taught to be non-violent and to keep the peace. However, that does not mean we should not defend ourselves and our family.
As Americans, we have all earned the right to bear arms. Although many people think that the second amendment was meant only for our army and police officers by our founding fathers, it is far too late to change any of those misinterpretations now. With powerful groups like the NRA, it is almost impossible to speak anything against gun ownership and it seems as if the guns are getting a bit out of control.
Because of the drastic number of school shootings, the growing number of gang violence, the growing number of police and civilian killings, and the stronghold of the NRA on Gun policy, we believe now more than ever we need unprecedented changes on our guns laws in America.
Since no real gun reform ever seems to stick and America has such an obsession with gun ownership I think the wisest thing to do is ban all metal and lethal bullets. That means we would take the drastic steps to make it illegal to sell or possess any ammunition other than rubber bullets or bean bag shots in Stonecrest. Not even the police will be allowed to use lethal ammunition in our city. It will be considered a hate crime to even posses lethal ammunition in the city of Stonecrest.
There are 10,000,000 more guns than people in the United States. We feel that guns have gotten so out of control that this is the only way to control the violence and mass shootings in our country. The penalty for possession of a real bullet in America will carry the penalty of a year in prison per bullet found.
We as Americans have been afforded the right to bear arms, but none of us has the right to kill another human being. If you cannot protect yourself and your family with a shotgun and beanbag bullets, then you need to take classes and learn to fight like a man.
We understand that the main objective for most gun owners is to hunt game. Well from now on if you knock an animal out with a non-lethal bullet, be prepared to really hunt and kill your game with a knife the way your ancestors did centuries ago. Perhaps a real hunt will put some real-life back in the sport of gaming, at least in Stonecrest.

The idea is to make Stonecrest the model city for all the other cities around this nation to copy. That's Stonecrest leadership.

Liquor Tax
Drugs in America have plagued this country forever. It's an epidemic that is only getting worse with time. The war on drugs costs our country over $51 Billion a year, and we're losing the fight. I honestly think that drug and prison reform go hand in hand. I believe that more money should be spent on treatment in Stonecrest and less on enforcement.

Stonecrest has an abundance of liquor stores, but not one AA or NA Clubhouse in the city. And we know the problem's there. No one's addressing it.

That's why every liquor store, bar, supermarket, gas station, and winery will pay a 10% rehab tax that will go directly to fund sober clubhouses to sponsor AA and NA meetings in Stonecrest. If you are a contributor to the problem, you will be a contributor to the solution.

Paved Streets
Some neighborhoods in Stonecrest are long overdue for repaving. The problem is there is never enough money in splost to pay for them. I will put an end to the waste of funds for investment projects like the Privi complex our current mayor has wasted money on and rezoning projects like Seaquest that should never have been operating without a license.
Frivolous spending days will come to an end once I am mayor. I will also hire a real city manager and not some underqualified friend of the mayor. If I'm going to be a part-time mayor I will definitely hire someone that has been vetted to do the job.

Better Customer Service & Quality of Food
Nothing ticks me off more than going somewhere and getting horrible service, from the grocery store to the fast food our customer service in this community has been subpar for a very long time.

Once elected I will form a committee whose sole task is to go to these Burger King and Walmarts with horrible service and work with management to better train their employees. There should never be a reason that you go to Cobb County and get the best service ever but in our community we accept the sorriest of service.

We will take it upon ourselves to have these managers do a better job of coaching good customer service or replace those employees with other applicants who will appreciate the job they have and do what it takes to give quality service.

Develop a Complex like Atlantic Station or Avalon & Bring Businesses to our City
Those rows of hotels that were built with no big attraction in the empty space that precedes them need some attention. I will go fishing for the right developers to bring us an Avalon in Alpharetta, or an Atlantic Station in Fulton County. We have the space, we just need the right developers, the right opportunity, and the right leadership to get it done here in Stonecrest. I will work tirelessly to make this happen for my great city.

One of the proponents of having a city is having great restaurants, stores, boutiques, and appeal that keeps the people in the community spending their money in their community. I wouldn't have to drive to Conyers to go to Target if I had one in my community. The same could be said for Whole Foods or any other big store or restaurant. As our community continues to grow and the housing values continue to increase, I will fight to bring those businesses to Stonecrest to make our community vibrant as we all imagined it.

More Street Lights in our City
Our streets are poorly lit. It makes it hard to see deer at night, easy for burglars to commit crimes, and leaves it unsafe for people to be out at night. Evans Mill Road is like driving through a forest at night with no street lights at all. And countless backroads that have absolutely no lighting at all. We need to invest in street lights for the safety of our residents and to help deter crime. We are a criminals dream with no lights to see them coming.

Change The Name of our
City from Stonecrest to Zion
There has been so much distaste for the City of Stonecrest in it's six years. God told me to change the name of the city to Zion. It gives our city power. There's power in our tongues. There are power in words. We named our city after a mall. God said to name it after Him. Zion means so much in the Bible. The Book of Revelations sings to the tune of Zion when Christ comes back.

Imagine our city, a Holy city, revered around the world as Zion as in the Bible. What businesses won't want to flock to this city just because of the promise of it's name.I think it's time we started listening more to God and less from man. Zion has a very nice ring to it.
